We are looking for someone who has minimum of 2 years’ experience and is very passionate on cooking and being very creative. What we are looking for:
- Able to assist head chef every day. - Able/experience to work under pressure in a high pace kitchen. - Needs to be able to communicate with everyone and understand on how to develop areas of opportunity in the kitchen alongside with the head chef. - Understanding the requirement of what chef needs and ensuring that all spices are ready when needed. - Ensuring spices are mixed on time and delivered to the Head chef. - Assist on training when needed. - Checking up on cooks that they are well maintained with the standards before any food leaving the kitchen.(Preparing Food checking before getting to customers - Checking food expiry. - Maintain Cleanliness and goodorder of equipment.Monitoring food safety andtemperatures.Portion Controlling must able tofollow recipes exactly the way the chef has recommended to maintainhigh standards of food.Able to prepare sauces that is relevant to chicken/meat etc.Able to mix right amount/quantity ofspices on a daily use.Understanding on cleaning and safe kitchen to ensure sanitationpractices in the kitchen.Hands on experience with passionpreparing quality fresh food. - Reviewing menu on special days to create something special in the guidance with the head chef - Supporting Tandoor chef/head chef |
